About Us

Nigeria’s environment and its biodiversity are facing alarming threats from both natural and anthropogenic disturbances  such as deforestation, over hunting, pollution, habitat fragmentation and alteration. Biota Conservation Hub Foundation (BiotaCHF) made up of trained conservationists and citizen scientists, was set up to address these pressing challenges. The methods we use  include but not limited to conservation education, species and habitat conservation, community outreaches, and researches projects.

To have a Nigeria where nature and people live in harmony through targeted conservation actions and activities where need be.

Mission

Getting stakeholders, students, local communities, and institutions to key into having a Nigeria that is biodiversity rich while meeting the needs of Nigerians in a sustainable manner.
